Lead the direct sales effort to new and existing accounts in a large multi-state southeast territory. Develop customers/prospects through, but not limited to, direct visits, phone calls, email, mailings, and conferences to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company. Perform sales and service functions for targeted markets, programs, and opportunities. This position requires a team player who demonstrates self-motivation and a positive, can-do attitude in working with others in pursuit of Division business objectives. Must be actively engages in developing business, partnering with internal contacts, and interested in doing whatever it takes to accomplish bother personal and Divisional goals.
Primary Responsibilities :
Tactically leads the business development and sales initiatives for assigned accounts or geographic territory(s). This includes developing strong relationships within appropriate levels of the customer to increase revenue and sales.
Achieving business milestones encompassing sales revenues, volumes and profitability.
Contact current and prospective customers to sell product and communicate company policies on unit price, product availability, scheduling/shipping date, payment terms, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer. Build extensive growth pipeline and manage/update it regularly.
Support and grow sales through existing distribution market.
Identify and pursue direct accounts to ensure that Harsco Minerals materials are used on the projects-either as direct purchases or through distributors.
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and product data information.
Identify and communicate market intelligence to support execution of strategic growth initiatives such as new product development.
Develop an understanding of the customer's business, technical environment, challenges, and other relevant information to assist in marketing products and services and developing strategies.
Develop and maintain customer account information capturing key commerical data.
Lead commercial implementation of new product or service offerings to customers in respective territory. Drive rapid growth and acceptance of new product offering.
Answer questions from customers or individuals on product characteristics/performance or direct them to the appropriate department that is able to assist them.
Work closely with operation leaders for respective production facilities to drive efficiencies, product quality, on-time deliveries and overall customer satisfaction.
Receive and document customer complaints. Work closely with quality department to identify issues and recommended corrective actions.
Match product availability and company programs with customer requirements.
Review customer purchase orders received for price and consistency with company Terms and Condition of Sale.
Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates. Confer with production, shipping, and common carriers to expedite orders or trace missing or delayed shipments.
Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional between company and customer.
Perform in a manner that will prevent errors and omissions.
## BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education
A Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university
B. Experience
Minimum five (5) years experience in a field and/or territory sales position
Previous direct sales responsibilities requiring infrequent supervision from superiors
C. Other qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
## PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education
BA or BS from accredited four-year college or university
Degree program in Business Administration, Engineering or specific science
MBA or additional masters level business courses
B. Experience
Seven (7) years in industrial B2B territory sales
Exhibited success achieving sales targets, territory growth, and/or revenue generation
Exhibited success in developing a business plan and achieving those targets

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
