Our client, located in Carlsbad, CA is looking for a Customer Service Representative for a 6 month contract.
This person will be responsible for processing orders, price inquiries, returns and complaints, credits and rebills, setting up new customers, updating existing customers, tracking packages, and other related Customer Service activities.
General Functions

Rapid/accurate input of customer/sales representative orders placed by telephone, fax or email using a PC and Microsoft Office software primarily. Must know written procedures and have product knowledge for accurate order processing and proper order prioritization.

Must also answer pricing and product inquiries received via telephone, fax and email.

Requirements

Excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner.
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with customers, sales representatives and coworkers.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems.
Ability to work effectively in teams to achieve the department?s objectives.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma

Skill Requirements
Experience using a PC; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel; typing speed of 40 wpm with 95% accuracy

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
