Demonstrated expert level-knowledge assisting customers in architecting, planning, testing and deploying Microsoft SQL Cluster, Oracle RAC, EDW using PDW, Big data analytics, Hadoop, IBM big insight Infrastructure solutions.
Experience overseeing (from a technical perspective) multiple projects.
SQL 2008 R2 at a minimum, SSAS a must
Exposure to SQL 2012 a plus
Experience with large scale DW solutions (SQL PDW, Teradata, Netezza) a plus
Experimentation with NoSQL technologies and Hadoop Azure is a major plus
Several years hands-on SQL Server development experience including:
DW schema design, implementation and optimization
ETL framework design, implementation and management
Physical implementation, optimization, backup, DR strategies
Advanced SQL Server features such as always-on technologies, scalability, audit and compliance
Design, develop and deploy SSIS packages
Design, develop and deploy SSRS and PowerPivot solutions
SharePoint and .Net development experience is a plus
Fluent in relational database architecture/design, clustering, RAC concepts
Database Technology: SQL Server, Hadoop, Cloudera etc.
ETL Technology: SSIS, Informatica
BI Technology: SSRS, SSAS, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Spotfire
Experience with any of the following is a plus: Cloud IaaS/PaaS, Azure, O365, Cloud Integration etc.
Certification Requirements:
One of the following additional certification will support the required technology understanding to perform this role:
Microsoft Certified Architect: Messaging Program.
MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 - Configuration Program
ITIL, MCSE, CCNA, PMP etc.
