Updates job knowledge by tracking technology and project management advances, participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Delivering PeopleSoft finance technical solutions to PeopleSoft finance production support and development efforts.
Collaborating with finance and segment IT teams across the globe to resolve PeopleSoft technical questions/challenges.
Working with teams in onsite-offshore model to support PeopleSoft Finance processing
Identifying and prioritizing system enhancements and develop specifications for Oracle/PeopleSoft Applications that meet business requirements.
Working with Infrastructure teams in development and production support of PeopleSoft Finance integration points.
Ensure audit guidelines are followed in delivering support to business processes
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND
Experience:
10 plus years overall experience in industry, and atleast8-10 years of hands on experience
in following technologies.
Proven experience with Peoplesoft Financials including,Oracle, Proc C, Cobol
Peoplesoft Functional knowledge AP,GL,AR,PC
Languages: Unix Scripting , SQL/PL/SQL, Pro C
Knowledge of Microsoft project is prefered
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong time and effort estimation skills, Results oriented, Detail oriented
Work efficiently while coordinating multiple tasks with different priorities
Able to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and
Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support
Ability to develop large scale web/database applications
Ability to communicate clearly with business users
Ability to construct user guides and documentation
