The Assistant Operating Room Director is responsible for coordination of patient care in the perioperative environment. He/she manages staff members in the Preoperative Unit. Consults with staff, physicians and Surgical Services Director on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital and unit policies and procedures to ensure patient needs are met. Actively participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Formulates budget for the Preoperative Unit
Requirements:
At least a Bachelor's degree in Nursing
A minimum of four years perioperative in an acute care hospital
Must have two years of experience in perioperative management
Base Salary - DOE
Benefits - FullEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
