We are searching for a interactive manager who can guide the quality department and work with associates throughout all levels of the company. The Quality Manager will work with customers and help the team launch new components. Knowledge of ISO-9000, TS-16949 and/or AS-9100 quality management systems is needed. Experience improving processes, procedures and work instructions is required. Strong problem solving skills using various tools such as fishbone, parados, root cause, analysis, 8-D and 5Why methodologies is strongly preferred. The Quality Manager will play a key role as part of the core management team. The ability to continuously develop quality team members and shop floor associates is needed. The ideal candidate will have auditing, statistical analysis/control, metrology, systems, MRB and advanced problem solving skills. Strong Gd&T and ability to read prints is required. Experience working in a metals, machining, forming, stamping, extrusion or forging environment is a plus. The key to this position is good leadership, communication planning and problem solving skills. We are searching for a true manager who can lead others to find solutions. Interested candidates will need good core tools to review or prepare FMEA, PPAP, gauge R&R, CPK studies, work instructions, SPC plans, control plans, flow diagrams and corrective actions.
MUST HAVE: a minimum of 10 years of quality experience, 5 years of quality management, strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire others. Knowledge of ISO-9000, TS-16949 and/or AS-9100 quality management systems is needed.
