Facility Security Officer FSO/CSSO

This individual will serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) at Commonwealth Technology Inc., a MacAulay-Brown, Inc. Company. The individual will work closely with various Government Agencies and Program Offices to submit access nominations, process personnel paperwork, administer indoctrinations, write system security plans, standard operating procedures, and security education and training. Other responsibilities include document control, visit requests, physical security and COMSEC Custodian. The individual will be the primary POC for the accreditation, inspection, and maintenance of the cleared facilities as well as the alarms and access control system. This position is at our Alexandria, VA location with responsibility for our Sterling, VA location as well. This position has supervisory responsibility and two direct reports.
This position requires a highly motivated self-starter who enjoys being challenged.

A current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
Candidate must have or be willing to take a polygraph
Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience as a security professional with at least 5 years as an FSO or CSSO supporting the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community programs. Must have expert level knowledge of the NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, and JAFAN.
Candidate must possess excellent speaking, writing, organizational, and customer service skills.
Candidate must be skilled in managing complex situations, a demonstrated ability to plan, organize, work, and meet deadlines.
Candidate must be able to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments concurrently.
Candidate must have experience with classified computer systems.
Candidate must have proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's Degree preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
