Perioperative Nurse Educator
We are seeking a Perioperative Nurse Educator for our community hospital. The Perioperative Nurse Educator position is critical to the success of our Hospital Medical Center and require the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health. The Perioperative Nurse Educator is responsible for the orientation and education of staff in the Operating Room, PACU, Short Stay Unit, Sterile Processing, Pre-Admit and inpatient Endoscopy units. The Perioperative Services Educator functions under the direction of the Director of Surgery. The educator is responsible for the assessment of the staff's educational needs and for planning, coordinating, teaching and evaluating programs to meet their needs. The Educator will act as an educational and clinical resource to the Manager/Charge Nurses and staff. In addition, the Educator will assist with coordinating performance improvement projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate from a school of nursing
BSN Degree Required
A minimum of three to five (3-5) years' operating room experience required
Demonstrated evidence of leadership, teaching ability and communication skills.
Must have knowledge of the Nursing Process, Principles and Procedures
Must have documented evidence of sound clinical judgment and technical competence.
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS Card
PREFERRED:
Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) preferred
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
