Graphic Designer SCOPE:
To maintain and implement graphic and copy changes on Marketing and Packaging materials, within the Diabetes Care Unit. Direction and priorities will be determined by Packaging and Marketing Groups.
Qualifications:
BS, BA, BFA degree with a concentration in Graphic Design and 2-4 years graphic design-related experience working on MAC and PC platforms.
Proficient in Adobe CS4 and above
Illustrator
InDesign
Photoshop
Acrobat
QuarkXpress a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Programs 2008 and above: Word Excel Powerpoint Knowledge of printing process including all associated prepress work and file preparation.
Position requires a detail oriented person with strong people skills and the ability to multi-task.
Previous experience working for a medical company a plus.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for implementation of design and copy changes in artwork provided by Packaging Group, Marketing and agencies, making sure they are within the Corporate Identity Guidelines.
Incorporating minor design and copy changes directed by Packaging Group or requested by Marketing Department - promotional/marketing materials - various design layouts, ads, brochures, inserts - posters, internal promotions, fundraising materials - packaging graphics
Fulfillment of Artwork requests - images - file collecting - image searching - FTP upload/download of files - creating PDFs - mock ups
Assists in implementing consistency across all levels of collateral materials and packaging changes within corporate identity guidelines 70% - Incorporating minor design and copy changes on marketing collateral and packaging artwork. 30% - Fulfilling artwork requestsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster.
