Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Machining AAMMM
Our Client Company is a world-class leader in the design and manufacture of high-lift structures, complex mechanical assemblies and major functional components. They are currently seeking a Manufacturing EngineerMachining in Stillwater, OK. The salary is commensurate with experience and relocation assistance may be considered.
The Manufacturing Engineer--Machining, defines the machining process with regard to the number of operations, clamping mode for all different operations, features to be machined within every operation, probing needs, and more, to meet customer specifications. He or she establishes cutting-tool requirements, leads continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects, provides technical support for production and takes the lead role in the introduction of new projects.
Requirements:
Four-year Engineering degree from an accredited school (preferred), or equivalent experience
Four
years manufacturing engineering experience leading and participating in complex machining
projects
Strong knowledge (and practice) in cutting tools, machine tools or the potential for fast-growing knowledge in cutting tools
Ability to solve machining problems using proven problem-solving methods with little or no supervision
Understanding and continuous use of improvement tools
Good English verbal- and written-communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a
team-based environment
Good interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with all levels in the organization while remaining customer oriented
Proficient in the use of statistical software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
Experience using Catia V5
Willingness to work flexible hours depending on the need and to visit clients/missions abroad
