Directing the activities of the department in the areas of Production, Maintenance and Quality;
Producing products efficiently and safely within established policy and processes;
Ensuring compliance with procedures, work instructions and specifications;
Participating or leading in developing corrective and preventive actions or any other type of measure to correct or improve product or process quality and monitor implementation and effectiveness;
Knowing and enforcing with the companies environmental policy and working to reduce its environmental footprint.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Business, Food Science, Engineering or related disciplines.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years of experience in a food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods industry;
Sanitation background highly preferred;
Lean Manufacturing experience;
Good knowledge of quality regulatory requirements: GMP, AIB, FDA;
Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and improve methods through standard work;
Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, training and coaching skills;
Able and willing to work third shift.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
