Seeking technician who can be a hands-on technical specialist in the Equipment Automation Engineering Department and the primary contact in troubleshooting and resolving manufacturing equipment and control systems.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering groups to monitor equipment status, diagnostics, and performance.
Troubleshoot PLC systems, modify inputs & outputs, timing relays, perform repairs as needed.
Document all repairs and the appropriate adjustments made.
Assess the equipments performance and work with engineers to implement improvement projects and perform training.
Required:
3
years of similar work experience.
Strong knowledge of equipment corrective and preventive maintenance tasks
Strong knowledge of mechanical alignment and troubleshooting of automated equipment
Strong knowledge of control systems and programming
Good knowledge and experience working with electronic components
Good understanding of vendor manuals and schematics
Familiarity with PLC controls, Robotics, Sensors, Motors, Actuators, Solenoids, Vision Systems.
