Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Performs and assists in the administration of the employment process in such areas as recruitment, processing, orientation, and termination.
Processes and assures that all pre-employment requirements are met, such as interviews, physical examination (post-offer), and analysis of application information.
Processes Payroll for all hourly employees and in accordance with set laws and contracts.
Performs tasks necessary to obtain background and reference checks for potential employees.
Evaluates and assures qualified temporary employees are obtained in a timely manner, and maintains the contractor database.
Originates new hire, transfer, and terminated employee packages, including required employment forms.
Performs and assists in employee relations functions, including social events, publications, and recreational activities.
Performs and assists in the establishment and implementation of new employee orientation programs.
Originates and maintains required personnel files and records on a current basis.
Participates in annual enrollment of employee benefit selection.
Communicates on a day-to-day basis with employees and providers relative to benefit inquiries.
Tracks exit interview information and conducts exit interviews when necessary.
Performs a variety of administrative functions, including telephone coverage, ordering office supplies, making travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, conference calls and catering, and sorting and distributing facsimiles, mail, and paychecks.
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. IncludesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
