Job Description:
The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying analyzing, specifying and validating the business needs of project sponsors and stake holders. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to convey to the clients IT development team throughout the project lifecycle. This role will partner with the business to facilitate improved business design, partner with the business to facilitate improved business process design, formulate, define and verify business and solutions requirements based on user and business needs. The Business Analyst will help support the software development lifecycle process, and to ensure that project deliverables fully satisfy business needs.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or demonstrated equivalent work experience
Minimum five (5) years IT experience working as Business Analyst
Other Qualifications
Prior experience in business analysis, elicitation, modeling , verification and methodology development
Must be able to gather requirements, write BRDs business requirements documents, write test scripts and perform SIT testing
Ability to build business relationships using sound interpersonal and information gathering skills
Experience working with development teams creating company specific software applications
Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and be self-motivated and directed.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office
Must possess proficient writing skills
Must be able to document business requirements properly
Knowledge of real estate operations desired
Six Sigma Certification preferred
Must be able to travel 25% of the time
