Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Windows Server Administrator with a focus on Patch management.
The primary responsibility will be the support, monitoring, configuration and deployment of patches in a timely manner.
The individual will also assist with the configuration, administration, maintenance, reporting and support of enterprise servers.
The successful candidate will work with Infrastructure Operations, Data Network and IT Risk to ensure a reliable, stable and secure foundation for Enterprise applications and services.
Requirements:
5
years of documented experience administering systems in high availability environments.
Experience with Patch Management and Software Deployment
Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003 and newer, HP-UX
Experience with Scripting Languages such as vbscript and Powershell
Active Directory (2003 and above)
Physical and Virtual Windows Servers
System Center Configuration Manager (2007 and above)
Server and Network/LAN troubleshooting skills
Experience with VMWare, vShpere and vCenter
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for reporting
Microsoft Certification desired
Responsibilities:
Configuration, deployment, administration and support of Windows Patches
Generate regular patch compliance reports
Maintain high level of patch compliance on monthly basis
Follow corporate standards and best practices
Effectively interface with local and remote team members
Maintain vendor relationships and interact with vendor support channels
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents off-hours
Education:
BS degree in the technology area or equivalent work experience.
