Responsible for the planning & execution of disciplined activities regarding all applicable systems/assets operations and maintenance in a highly critical environment demanding high availability at all times. Perform at a professional level in a highly critical environment, requiring the utmost level of concentration and exacting well planned actions. Perform a variety of services in a highly specialized building systems arena. Perform daily, while sharing in the sense of urgency surrounding mission critical operations and facilities. Responsible for the application and execution of risk management practices within the work flow process. Typical critical environment availability demands are in excess of 99.9%. May also be responsible for the inspection, operation, and maintenance of all equipment associated with an assigned Class A CE space. These tasks will primarily be performed independently once established training goals are achieved. Additional focus will be on risk identification, communication, and providing mitigation recommendations. Therefore, the candidate must be forward thinking and continuously engaged in risk identification.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES:
1. Performs a variety of service work in all phases of specialized criticalelectricalbuilding distribution systems including but not limited to single & redundant electrical distribution systems, generator systems, tie switches, transfer switches, paralleling systems, static switches, UPS and/or battery systems, distribution equipment, relay protection, breakers, panel boards, branch circuit wiring and devices.
2. Performs a variety of service work in all phases of specialized criticalmechanicalbuilding distribution systems including but not limited to single & redundant cooling distribution systems, steam & heating systems, complex valve configurations, redundant distribution systems, central & package cooling plants, chilled water storage, boiler plants, heat recovery units, cooling towers, dry coolers, water treatment, point of delivery cooling components, and complex central building control systems.
3. Supports critical environment awareness and CE program compliance pertaining to operations procedure development(EOP, SOP), document management protocols, capacity planning, change control management, risk mitigation support, disaster recovery support, incident reporting, point of delivery analysis.
4. Assist management in the process of incident management as well asroot cause analysis studies when applicable.
5. Complete familiarity with sophisticated equipment monitoring, alarm, building management and automation systemsensuring all plant equipment operates in its most efficient configuration and condition.
6. Thorough understanding of life safety systems, fire alarm systems and air conditioning and control systems.
7. Complete understanding of electric/electronic temperature control systems and the functionality of security access systems.
8. Plans & selects required materials and risk mitigation plans for service and repair work where required.
9. Perform prescribed non-destructive and/or predictive tests; collect and deliver samples for analysis.
10. Performs logging operations using advanced instrumentation techniques.
11. Perform daily rounds throughout the entire facility to log readings, carry out visual inspections on all equipment, rooms and systems and logging shift activity.
12. Advanced knowledge of electrical distribution systems and over current protective devices.
13. Be among the first responders when an incident occurs, escalate according to established protocols and work on ground under the supervision and coordination of the emergency response team.
14. Works from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts or verbal instructions to perform assigned tasks per written procedures.
15. Must comply with work order system to include interpreting work orders, performing work requested and completing work orders with little or no direction.
16. Requisitions new supplies and equipment.
17. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures along with national, state and/or local electrical building codes.
18. Complies with all company critical site policies and procedures and adheres to company standards.
19. Will assume a role in planning, scheduling and executing mechanical maintenance, repairs, modifications and projects across various shifts.
20. Provides direction and training to less experienced O&M Specialists.
21. Provide assistance and support to vendor service teams while supervising their activities.
22. Will provide project updates and/or equipment status reports on a daily basis.
23. Willingness to cross train with other building trades.
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a two year technical degree or equivalent.
3. Minimum of 3 years experience in a critical site environment as a specialist in this area.
4. State Journeyman's license or equivalent, including 6-7 or more years experience in operations and maintenance of building systems.
5. Requires in-depth knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to deal with service and repairs.
6. Ability to utilize specialized meters, analysis tools and instrumentation.
7. Must be physically able to perform basic maintenance tasks to the highest caliber, which includes ability to: climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs., etc.
8. Must be able to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
9. May be required to use a variety of hand and power tools or forklift.
10. May be required to possess a valid driver's license.
11. Advanced knowledge of safety procedures and equipment, procedures and established techniques.
12. Ability to work well under pressure.
13. Written and verbal communication skills
14. Must be computer system literate (BMS, CMMS, Microsoft Office, etc.)
15. Must maintain certification on all CE program training.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
