SELECTING OFFICIAL: MSgt Edward Nickel, Explosive Ordnance Technician
Must become a member of the New Jersey Air National Guard.
The following list of duties is not conclusive but provides a brief snapshot of the duties that may be required for this position: A copy of the complete position description is available in the Human Resource Office.
DUTIES: Receives, in-checks, routes, and moves parts,assemblies, components, and on-base turn-ins into and out of industrial shops. Interprets packing manuals and specificationsand determines containers, protective devices, cushioning materials, methods,and techniques needed for packing a variety of tools, parts, equipment, and other items, taking into consideration such factors as size, type, weight, fragility, hazardous materials, transportation mode, and destination of items. Constructs containers such as crates, boxes,cases and skids for use in shipment of items, utilizing Special Packaging Instructions (SPIs) when available to determine proper support requirements foritems being prepared for shipment. Determines proper identification, marking, labeling, and inclusion of shipping documents and special handling instructionson all shipments. Assists the Distribution Manager as required in actions such as determining freight shipping requirements consistent with efficiency and transportation priorities. Formulates and prepares Commercial Bills of Lading (CBL) and procures transportation arrangements with commercial carriers and appropriate military services for equipment, supplies and material shipments.

Experience: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to follow instructions and safely operate the type of equipment required to accomplish the duties of the position.

SPECIALIZED
Experience: WG-06 Must have 6 months of experience or training which demonstrates the ability to operateand perform operator maintenance on one or more motor vehicles includingplatform trucks, van trucks, stake trucks, dump trucks, ambulances or patienttransport vehicles, passenger shuttle vans, and cargo vans which typically havean approximate gross vehicle weight of more than 4,500 kilograms (10,000pounds) and up to 11,700 kilograms (26,000 pounds).
WG-08 Must have 12 months experience or training which demonstrates the ability to operate one or more motor vehicles including platform trucks, van trucks, fuel trucks, stake trucks, dump trucks, and trash removal trucks whichtypically have an approximate gross vehicle weight of more than 11,700 kilograms (26,000 pounds) and up to 14,400 kilograms (less than 32,000 pounds).
Knowledge of a wide variety of preservation processing and standard packing methods and techniques, detailed knowledge of specialized techniques for preservation and/or custom packing.
Knowledge of procedures and documentation requirements to prepare and verify shipping documents for correct safety and destination coding, classifications, and hazardous material handling criteria
Knowledge of warehousing plans and accepted warehousing methods, procedures and techniques
Skill in determining weight support points for large or irregular material and in fabricating the necessarybracing and protective forms.
Knowledge of operating one or more gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles with a GVW of more than 32,000 pounds such as aircraft refueling tractor trailers, truck tractors with semi or full trailers, heavy load in-line trucks,or interstate motor coaches.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job.
