AHS is seeking a candidate for a Full Time Medical Physicist position with hours from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. MS Degree. Certified physicist or eligible. Prior experience required. Selected candidate will be responsible for the calibration and QA of treatment units, calibration of dosimetry instruments. Candidate will assist in development of new QA procedures, participate in commissioning of new equipment and external Beam and IMRT treatment planning. Candidate will evaluate plans and approves for treatment, assist therapists/physicians during CT simulation, collaborate with physicians to determine best treatment strategy and performs required chart checks.
