When hanging birds for whole birds Grab bird from conveyor by the base of the wing, and place the other hand under the bird/ breast for support. Hang the bird by placing the wing into the shackle. If the shackle line is off, transfer birds from conveyor into a tank. Also, all of B-grade heavy hens and toms need to be transfer to the tank/bin if Boning dept. is not running.
