Leidos has a career opening for a Systems Engineer with experience in ISR PED operations and architecture to support one of its current programs.
POSITION
Summary:
The job of Systems Engineer is to provide a total systems perspective including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of hardware and software components related to the FPED Army architecture. The ideal candidate will plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions to total systems or subsystems using internally created and/or commercial off-the-shelf product. Candidate will work with other engineers, technicians, and top-level managers in the design, testing and evaluation of systems. Will work long hours and / or non-regular hours with minimal notice, Some travel required.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Maintain integrity of systems-of-systems by defining requirements architecture and interfaces.
Will coordinate with engineering staff and ensures problem solution, appropriate risk reduction, and end user/customer satisfaction.
Evaluate, test, document and recommend installation processes for all system installations.
Will interface with the field in regards to software & hardware issues and/or deployments.
Systems Engineer will assist with the testing and evaluation of hardware and software changes as required.
Ensure that adequate and appropriate planning is provided for hardware and communications for facilities.
Prepare and provide input to engineering plans, engineering drawing sets and be involved in site installation technical design packages.
Provide coordination in the analysis, acquisition and installation of hardware and software.

Qualifications:
BASIC
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in technical discipline and 5
years of related experience. Additional years of related experience may be used in lieu of degree.
Must have previous MAAS Experience.
Experience with storage and networking components, equipment staging, and or development of Shell scripts.
Experience providing SAN administration.
Must have previous experience working with SQL databases.
Must have previous experience working with Server 2008 or higher.
Must poses CompTia Security
certification.
Must have a DoD TS/SCI clearance.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Military experience and previous PED Support.
Microsoft Certifications.
Experience with virtualization.
Experience preparing and editing technical documentation.
Experience performing security hardening.
