McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Shift Leader - Manufacturing (Working 3rd shift Monday - Friday. The start time is 10:00pm - 6:30am), located in Lancaster, PA.
McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc markets a broad range of over-the-counter products, including TYLENOL acetaminophen products, ZYRTEC and BENADRYL allergy medicines, IMODIUM A-D anti-diarrheal, MOTRIN IB, and SUDAFED nasal decongestants.
The Shift Leader will lead new and current operators in daily tasks associated with manufacturing such as training, good housekeeping, and process or operator related machinery troubleshooting. Accountable for supporting manufacturing in order to hit daily and weekly target goals in packaging/manufacturing. Is responsible for keeping up with line qualifications in order to assist in assembling and/or producing products when they are shorthanded. Will assist and advise TL with strategic goals, such as reducing NCs, attending PRTs, ordering niche items for lines, and completing Batch Record reviews. Accountable for adhering to and enforcing all quality and safety guidelines in packaging/ manufacturing.
The Shift Leader performs all operator related responsibilities and expectations as per the packaging or manufacturing operator job description. Identifies and elevates all immediate and potential quality, safety, or environmental issues. Possesses and demonstrates knowledge and skill levels appropriate to serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the applicable production area, process, and/or packaging/ manufacturing equipment. Maintains an updated and current training record (adheres to training timelines in ComplianceWire, etc). Participates in Safety initiatives and programs. Works with production supervisor and/or engineers to resolve line issues and participates in investigations. Monitors and responds to line issues. Notifies supervisor when tools or equipment need maintenance or repairs. Provides training to operators in basic and complex packaging/ manufacturing processes. Serves as backup for the Supervisor/ Team Leader as needed with full responsibility for the production and quality of the product on the line and/ or shift. Participates in review and approval for packaging or manufacturing Batch Records, Cleaning Records, and SOPs as required.
The Shift leader will be expected to participates in team meetings. Serves as a team member with Team Leaders and PRT members for process family line to ensure process outcomes (Business Unit results) are achieved. Serves as a backup for the supervisor as needed, with full responsibility for the production and quality of the product on the line/shift. Operates equipment and conducts work based on established and certified cGMP, Safety & Environmental practices. Serves as SME for updating Batch Records, Cleaning Records, and SOPs that pertain to their area.

Qualifications
This position requires a High school diploma or its equivalent. A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a GMP environment in the pharmaceutical, food or dairy industries is required.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required. Must be able to frequently lift/carry 1-10 lbs., and occasionally lift/carry 11-50 lbs, and push up to 100lbs. Must be able to lift from the ground to knees and waist and from the waist to shoulders. Applicants are required to be a qualified trainer. Must be detail oriented, accurate, dependable, and have a history of good attendance. Must show the ability to demonstrate strong leadership, insight, organizational skills, and delegating with professionalism. Experience with Inventory Management Systems is required. Qualified fork truck driver is preferred. You must be able to work 10:00pm - 6:30pm as well as be available for overtime weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
