Our Direct Client located in Richardson, TX. has an immediate Full Time Permanent position for a Business Intelligence Administrator.
Job Description:
As a member of the Business Intelligence team, the Data Warehouse BI Administrator will design, structure, and develop subject areas and report logic in the data warehouse supporting the company. The BI Administrator is responsible for the design, build, and deployment of the end user analysis components of the analytic solution. The BI Administrator participates in developing the interfaces to the data warehouse that will be visible to the enterprise, and must, therefore, work closely with both business/systems analysts and other OBIEE Developers. The BI Administrator also participates in installations and configuration of the BI solution, secures OBIEE content, merges new content, and monitors usage. In most cases, the Administrator will work with OBIEE/Answers as the primary front-end Business Intelligence tool. To be most effective, the BI Administrator should be familiar with metadata concepts and the Data Warehouse data model.
Minimum
Qualifications:
BS MIS, CS, or related field required; Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, 3
years of experience specifically in data warehouse BI Administration; OR the equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 12 years.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with OBIEE/Answers. Knowledge of terabyte DW concepts, architectures, master data management and information delivery.
Expert level knowledge of star schema design, and data models; solid understanding of SQL and databases, Indexing, Partitioning, etc.
Experience with OBIEE installations, configurations (MUDE, Scheduler, Usage tracking, Security, Cache, etc.)
Space Management experience (log files, cache files, backup files, etc.) with DBA knowledge helpful. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the I.R. department.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Master's degree in MIS, CS, or related field. Solid understanding of business (accounting, budgeting, purchasing, etc.) processes and/or educational institutions. Experience building reports against PeopleSoft EPM Data Warehouse, and FIN/HCM/CS data structures. Experience training business users in accessing/building OBIEE/Answers dashboards/reports. Experience with Essbase, Analysis Services and reporting.
Minimum
Responsibilities:
Works with end users and business/systems analysts to ensure tight fit between BI environment and business requirements, as well as with other OBIEE developers to ensure consistency in design and security
Leads BI Tool Installations for the OBIEE repository server, presentation server, web server, JDK, Oracle Client, BI Publisher, OBIEE MS Office component installations, etc.
Leads software configurations including MUDE, scheduler, security integration, cluster config., etc.
Merge and Migrations - OBIEE Repository and catalogs as well as BI Publisher reports merge and migrations
Space Management - Server space management for various log files, cache files, backup files, etc.
Monitoring - Monitors the overall OBIEE usage on server and captures the usage spikes to improve performance
Uptime - Overall uptime of server, starting/stopping of services, backup of RPD and web cat, changing config. Parms
Participates in development of the semantic layer and metadata, and report definitions
Creates and delivers documentation on infrastructure, software configuration, and procedures
Knowledge of BI tool architectures, functions, and features
Strong problem-solving and metadata skills
Additional
Responsibilities:
May periodically act as a data analyst/data modeler, technical architect/system analyst, business requirements analyst, BI/Support service.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
