Job Summary
:

Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects. This person will be responsible for projects throughout the project management lifecycle, from original concept to final implementation. Interfaces with all areas affected by the project including business users and IT staff.
This role will manage large, complex, strategic projects that span across multiple departments. In addition, the role will manage other large and small projects as assigned.
Qualifications
:
Education
: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required or must be obtained within six months.
Experience
: At least seven years Project Management in an IT environment. At least 10 years overall experience in IT.
Additional skills required
: Thorough knowledge of project management practices, as set forth by the
Project Management Institute's Body of Knowledge
. Thorough knowledge of the
System Development Life Cycle
process. Prior experience managing large, complex, strategic projects; crossing multiple departments; and with total project costs in the multi-million dollar range. Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) both internally to the project team and to executives. Ability to provide necessary support to the gathering and writing of accurate, complete requirement specifications and process flows. Acts as a catalyst to resolve project issues and conflicts encountered by team members. Relationship management skills that include excellent listening and consultative abilities, as well as the ability to establish credible relationships with business partners to drive change. Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project. Ability to mentor project managers as needed.

Full time, exemptEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
