The Technology Director of Global IS ERP will direct all aspects of ERP based technology infrastructure and services for Johnson & Johnson worldwide, providing strategic leadership in the following areas: SAP and additional eco-system software components that can be leveraged across Johnson & Johnson. This role will develop a vision and assist the IM director in leading a globally dispersed employee base and provide technical leadership to a team of highly skilled engineers and managers, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the organizations Global ERP platforms.
Responsibilities of this position include: Provide technical leadership and vision to a geographically dispersed team of Technology Engineers in SAP Basis that can be leveraged across Johnson& Johnson globally; Evaluate technology trends, setting standards in these areas and executing projects for the operating companies; Globally Engineer shared services and self service solutions in SAP Basis for scalability, reliability, performance and maintainability; Define product lifecycle management including release management, upgrade strategy and retirement plans; Establish global standards and configurations; Continuously evaluate technology trends in these areas and apply them to update environments through partnering with technology providers; Define and promote global technology roadmaps, best practices and methodologies; Act as a liaison between project team and various support functions within shared services and corporate business functions; In-depth knowledge of application infrastructure of SAP ECC, BI, Portal, Netweaver, PI and BOBJ, MDG, SLT and HANA; Champion and Lead correct technical procedure and architecture documentation for SAP platforms; Must be able to effectively manage and communicate complex technical changes.
Additional responsibilities include: Lead incident management team with root cause investigations. Manage SAP technical team efforts to the resolution of SAP issues; Drive in the development, maintenance, execution and communication of all processes related to Technology services including, but not limited to, platform improvements, preventative maintenance, and capacity planning; Reviews and provides recommendations on SAP engineering decisions; Ability to thinks broadly about the implications of work plans and how they may impact other areas of the organization; Ability to effectively and proactively manage business partner expectations; Thought leadership technologies used in the industry and by other leading global I/T organizations, and uses this information to develop new strategies and recommendations; Drives execution excellence by reviewing and approving all SAP technical changes and validates their impact to the SAP production environment; Attends or coordinates SAP technical representation for coverage in all SAP operational and release management meetings.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Management. A Master's Degree in Business (MBA) is preferred. A minimum of 15 years of IT/business experience is required. A minimum of 10 years of hands on SAP Basis experience is required. A minimum of 5 years of SAP Basis management experience is required. Deep knowledge of the following SAP Basis functions is required: Application of Support Packs, printer setup and configuration, RFC Destinations, Analyzing System and Trace logs, monitoring CCMS. Experience working on at least 6 full lifecycle SAP projects is required. Experience in leading day-to-day support of SAP Basis environments is required. Working knowledge of database and operating systems fundamentals is required. Experience with SAP on Virtualized Infrastructure is preferred. Familiar with hardware and software companies and products that support or interface with SAP environments is required. Working knowledge of SAP systems architecture standards and industry directions is required.
Ability to drive resolution of issues by bringing teams together - both internal and external to J&J is required. Ability to work across multiple countries and cultures is required. Lead and influence teams in a virtual work environment is required. Tolerance to a high level of ambiguity is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong collaboration and team-building skills are required. Ability to adopt and deploy J&J Credo leadership skills is required. Maintains integrity and trust within and across all organizations and relationships is required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
