Summary
Seeking experienced and motivated Production Machine Operator. Previous experience operating automated production machinery required. Must follow all Safety, OSHA, and GMP requirements and standards, and keep the work areas and equipment in a clean and working orderly condition. Ability to work flexible hours is a necessity.
Job Description
Operate all machinery following safety procedures such as tag-outs.
Coordinate shift change over with Supervisor to assure done timely and smoothly and communicate with next Shift Operator.
Clean equipment and utensils when not in use and for the next shift.
Perform other duties as requested.
Complete all job related paperwork and documents.
Understand all valves, switches and safety mechanisms.
Operate equipment only when properly guarded.
Ensures all safety procedures are being followed, including using lockout procedure correctly.
Perform job and cleaning duties within established safety guidelines.
Wear all required safety clothing (shoes, back belts, gloves, Etc.)
Follows correct GMP procedures.
Has been trained on organic compliance requirements on a yearly basis and follows procedures.
Meets or exceeds all productivity standards.
Records all pertinent performance information (lbs./cases produced, material usage, etc.)
Perform other tasks as required by Supervisor.
Keep work area clean and uncluttered.
Notify Supervisor immediately if any product or equipment problems.
Communicate all machine problems, quality variations, and other operational problems to the Supervisor on a timely basis.

Experience
Must have 1 - 2 years of related experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
