UX Designer
Location: Sunnyvale CA
Seek experienced UX Designer to join the UX team focused on designing user interfaces for next generation security analytics product suite. You will be responsible for helping to bring leadership, vision and best in class interaction design to a portfolio of cyber security products. You will work with other members of the User Experience team to create best-in-class user experiences that thrill customers and ensure their successful delivery to market.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Management and other User Experience team members to deliver user experience releases to market.
Define and document use cases / task flow analysis based on requirements from Product Management.
Create and maintain business object and information models from requirements.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with peers to create interaction designs for end-to-end user experiences.
Develop user interface wireframes and conduct usability studies/user testing.
Collaborate with visual designers on high fidelity mockups and style guides.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in interaction design (web, software, mobile), with an emphasis on conceptual, visual, interaction design and strategic thinking.
Experience in defining, documenting, and communicating end-to-end user experience designs through use cases / task flow analysis, business object and information modeling.
Track record of employing user-centered design methods to develop user interface specifications including flow diagrams, wireframes, high fidelity mockups and style guides.
Ability to design, facilitate, and coordinate usability studies, user testing, and other research activities
Ability and willingness to understand / learn network security analytics configuration, management and deployment best practices
Passion for creating great user experiences in collaboration with User Experience Designers and Product Managers.
Must be able to excel in a fast pace environment where action and initiative are prerequisites
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree with multidisciplinary background in a field such as cognitive psychology, human factors, information sciences, human-computer interaction, or related discipline
Experience with the following UX design tools a plus: Microsoft Visio, Omnigraffle, Balsamiq, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Techsmith Morae.
MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDEREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
