We are seeking a Project Engineer CAPEX for our Midlothian, TX location.

Overview:
This position will provide technical coordination and support in the operating and capital expense management processes by initiating and running projects using the capital expense (CAPEX) project process, equipment monitoring, stabilization and improvements. Projects will consist of purchasing and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment related to the steel industry. Managing project teams and participating in large team projects will involve working with operations, maintenance, logistics, contractors, and other business units.
Responsibilities:
Develop and refine engineering procedures.
Process sample and data collection and interpretation.
Implement new technology.
Train and develop technical operations
Conduct Technical Studies to support CAPEX investments.
Implement Best Practices.
Support process improvement projects where applicable.
Participate in the development of Annual Action Plans.
Participate in Technical Committee benchmark.

Qualifications include:
Bachelor Degree Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in engineering for manufacturing industry. Steel or related industry is preferred.
Experience with project management; ideal candidate should have experience working with multiple CAPEX projects with an average budget of $3-4 million each.
Preferred certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) Certified or Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification
MS Project (or related project management software) is required.
Preferred skills: Solid modeling, AutoCAD, or controls/automation programming.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
