Job Description:
We are seeking a Java Developer for a full-time, permanent opportunity here in the Nashville area (this company structures their hires as a three month contract-to-hire). The right candidate will have 2
years of experience with pure Java development along with some experience using Spring framework and Struts (will eventually get away from Struts and be in fully with Spring). Ajax and jQuery (for visual updates) are nice to have as well.
This group is utilizing some very interesting tools, including using Twitter Bootstrap for the view layer, and basing a lot of what they do on Angular.js. If you really liked jQuery, Backbone.js, or Require.js, this team would be the one you would enjoy being on. Lastly, if you do not have experience in using Spring MVC but would like to get it, this is a perfect place for you. This team is creating all new material for the next three years, so it is a very exciting time to join the team.
The type of environment that accompanies this group is very laid back and a strong team attitude is needed. In addition, this group is very driven, competent, and innovative. They use open source technologies, and someone that demonstrates passion for Java development by using it outside of the workplace would fit well into this group. They are looking to hire this person immediately.
Qualifications:

years of Java Development experience
Spring tool suite (Spring, Spring MVC, etc.)
Great team attitude and leadership qualities

Struts or Hibernate experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
