Position Objective:
Develops and supports the IBM i-series computer systems used by Sunbelt Rentals and its subsidiaries.
Position
Responsibilities:
Designs and develops application programs for AS/400 systems using CLLE, RPGII, III and ILE.
Tests and documents application programs in accordance with established department standards.
Maintains and supports the firm's existing application computer systems answering questions and providing program upgrades and amendments as required.
Provides Beta system implementation services including installation and training of end users for Corporate and the Divisions.
Assists in the development and enhancement of the firm's programming, documentation and computer operations standards.
Education and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Information systems preferred or commensurate experience
Years
Experience:
5 years of programming experience required.
Other requirements:
Working knowledge of systems applications in a sales and service organization management.
Experience with inventory control, order processing and preventative maintenance tracking software highly useful software is desirable.
Programming using RPGII & III, ILE, and CL.
System analysis
