Summary:
Keeps office building and work areas in the building clean and orderly by performing the following duties:
Clean stairwells, sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs/stairways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms and other work areas.
Vacuum flooring, clean floors and wet mop restrooms.
Dust furniture and equipment. Water plants.
Disinfect restrooms and break rooms.
Washes walls, ceilings and woodwork as well. Washes windows, door panels, and sills inside and out.
Empties trash and garbage containers.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Replenishes bathroom supplies. Replaces light bulbs.
Picks up refuse from grounds and maintains area.
Cleans debris from sidewalk.
Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating and ventilating equipment.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.
