What are we looking for
Our team is looking for a passionate and talented engineer to join us in building the user interface of our next generation marketing predictive analytics platform.
Build visualizations to make complex ideas clear and intuitive
Research, use and extend open-source frameworks for UI implementation
Work with backend engineers to design, build, and test reusable REST APIs
Collaborate with design to build a delightful web experience
Participate in the continuous improvement of our front-end infrastructure
Design and develop new features for the company's web applications that works across different browsers
Produce a high quality reusable codes in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with an emphasis in performance and optimization
Work closely with UX Designer, Software Engineers and Product Managers to produce world class web applications
Maintain and enhance current UI standards and libraries
Participate in the design, performance and code review process
What you need to have
Passion for creating efficient, scalable UI interfaces
Expert in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Must understand and be able to code OO in JavaScript
Experience with jQuery or similar framework (Dojo, YUI, Closure)
Experience in developing web applications using AJAX
What gives you extra credit
Experience with Node.js
Experience with templating language (Jade, Mustache, Underscore, Dust)
Experience with MV Framework (Backbone.js, AngularJS)
Experience in data visualization (incl. charting libraries such as Highcharts)
Experience in HTML5 and CSS3
Basic knowledge of version control (Git, SVN)
Some experience in UI design, interest in creating beautiful and useful interfaces.
