Scope of Position (i.e. projects involved with and role within group):
The role of the Product Line Manager (PLM) is to develop & advocate the strategies relevant to her/his stream, working closely with our businesses & functional partners to understand their current needs and future trends. The role is also responsible for working closing with Ops. Stream Managers to assist them with their process effectiveness & efficiencies, which includes working with them to achieve and maintain global process standardization, with the PLM being the global process owner. The PLM also provides project management oversight, partnering with the PMs to ensure successful project delivery.
The PLM is also expected to interface with the industry to understand best practices, trends, and what constitutes world class performance. This knowledge is necessary for the development of the product-line strategy (& roadmap).
Day to Day
Responsibilities:
Strategic planning and execution for existing and new services
Global process owner responsible for standardization, enhancing process effectiveness and efficiencies utilizing LEAN and PEx tools and facilitates business unit integrations and process/service expansions
Advocates world-class performance, compliance & excellent customer service
Provides project management oversight

Required Skills:
Project management experience
Experience working with cross-functional & global teams
Minimum yellow-belt certification in PEx tools and theory
Decision-Making/Problem Solving Skills - makes good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, judgment, & wisdom. Able to make quick decisions; using rigorous logic & methods to solve difficult problems
Understanding of HR functional process
Desired Skills:
Corning Shared Services or other process-intensive experience
Operational experience complex organization and large group leadership
Certified Greenbelt
International work experience; including experience managing change globally
Engineering work experiences
Education and
Experience:
Bachelors Degree Required
MBA Desired

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
