Brief Overview
The operations manager will lead and direct the Press, Fabrication and Finish operation in the production of high quality parts. This position will set direction for the press, fabrication and finish departments in delivery of safety, cost, quality and productivity objectives. The operations manager also champions the change management process and provides leadership for lean transformation at the North Central Ohio Operations.

In this position, you'll have the opportunity to:
Aggressively lead the press, fabrication and finish organization in the transformation journey to eliminate waste and continue the journey to lean manufacturing implementation at their facility;
Maintain a dependable and dedicated workforce through open communications and the ability to drive and sustain change;
Select, coach and develop people in the press, fabrication and finish organization;
Develop and manage the annual budget to deliver aggressive safety, quality, cost and productivity targets; and
Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans that provide innovative approaches to manufacturing products.

Requirements for Success:
Bachelor's degree required. Prefer operations related field.
5-10 years of leadership experience in a large manufacturing environment.
Success in implementing lean practices and principles
Proven track record of developing people
Proven ability to drive initiatives that support change
Leadership skills in driving new ideas
Proven ability to analyze and process problems while providing effective solutions
Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks
Successful conflict resolution
Strong PC based skills. Experience with Microsoft Office and production inventory systems.
Six Sigma training a plus
