Our client is looking for an operator/administrator for this role. This will be a re-implementation effort of our Symantec Netbackup environment, utilizing a Symantec 5230 Appliance.
The individual will be responsible for:
Assessing the new back up infrastructure
Understanding the retention needs of data
Inventorying/Analyzing content on the servers
Creating Policies in NBU to effectively manage our back up needs
Document the policy
Create implementation / cut over plan working with managed services provider
Implement Vaulting
Stabilize environment
Create a site to site replication between two 5230s for DREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
