Provide advice and technical support to engineering teams on system requirements related to security certification and accreditation of new and existing systems. Work closely with security and engineering teams to complete all applicable system documentation, including SSP, as-built diagrams, and POA&M''s. Develop, implement, configure, and maintain security configuration policies within a Linux- and UNIX-based environment. Support security configuration to virtualized hosts of multi-tiered HA and clustered applications and databases and provide Tier III and other support per request from various constituencies. Support system component acquisition and program management. Perform the installation, integration, and implementation of automated systems at designated field office locations while monitoring the prime and developmental contractors'' technical, schedule, and cost performance. Work closely with DCS PMO personnel in supporting configuration management, risk management, issue tracking, schedule tracking, and change request management.
Basic
Qualifications:
-8 years of experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining complex networked computer systems
-Experience with architectural design concepts and methodologies
-Experience with shell scripting, creating cron jobs, analyzing log files, managing user accounts and groups, configuring iptables, and setting up mail services
-Knowledge of state-of-the-art concepts in open system standards, including STIG and OSCAP, design methodologies and tools, including dataflow diagrams and systems engineering practices
-Ability to demonstrate sound technical aptitude for Audit log management, integrated DNS, antivirus management, OS patch management, inventory management, remote assistance, Red Hat virtualization, Storage Area Networks (SANs), server health monitoring, server performance monitoring, network device monitoring, and virtualized test and operational environments
-Active Top Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree
-Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Certification

-Experience with Active Directory Domain Services, Active Directory Enterprise, software development, Java, bash, and PERL scripting
