Position Description
Garage Mechanics
The successful candidate will work in a participative environment where Safety is a priority and everyone works to reduce waste and ensure that our Fleet is maintained at the highest standards.
Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, major repairs, trouble-shooting, shop and road work on tractor-trailers and smaller local delivery trucks.
Position Requirements
Must have 3 years experience in heavy duty truck repair or equivalent education.
Must possess a Class A Drivers License or the ability and willingness to acquire the CDL license, if necessary.
Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must supply own small tools.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be willing to work nights and week-ends.
Must be willing to work holidays as needed.
Must be able to weld.
Must have the ability to drive a wrecker for road calls, and the ability to road test all company equipment.
Must be proficient in the use of a computer;
Faster Fleet software familiarity is preferred but will train the successful candidate.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
