SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Our company has an excellent direct-hire opportunity for an Account Executive in the greater Bay Area. We're looking for Sales professionals with a successful track record of generating additional revenue from new and existing accounts. Job is full-time, Monday through Friday in South San Francisco.
Key Job Duties
Secure and manage new account business in air, ocean, warehousing/distribution domestic trucking and 3PL.
Develop strong relationships with decision makers on existing and target accounts.
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Manage and update a list of 20
target accounts.
Make 10
prospect appointments per week.
Conduct strategic sales initiatives and identify; new business opportunities, decision makers and business solutions.
Conduct joint sales calls with Sales Manager, Dept. Managers and Regional Manager.
Desired Skills and Experience
5
Years sales/marketing experience in the global freight forwarding industry with successful revenue generating results.
Strong communications skills- (Listening- good public speaking- providing and receiving feedback).
Ability to understand, develop and maintain multi-cultural relationships.
Ability to deal effectively with complex business processes that may involve multiple levels of approval.
Understanding industry Incoterms- offer transportation solutions and execute transactions.
Strong Sales process skills and effective daily use of Salesforce.com
Strong leadership, management and organizational skills
Business or related college degree.
Requirements:
Selected candidates must be able to complete background screening and drug test.
