The primary responsibility of the Server Assistant is to provide prompt, courteous and excellent service to restaurant guests and by assisting Food Servers as necessary. Takes ownership in the guest experience by expressing the passion of Chef Kelly English''s culture to guests.

Make sure that all tables are set completely both before and after shift.
Make sure all areas are clean and free of debris.
Polish all glassware and silverware as necessary.
Maintain tables throughout service, clear dishes between courses and empty glassware as necessary.
Clear and scrap all dishes in the side stations after clearing a table.
Stock all side stations with linen and proper glassware.
Service and explanation of bread to guests.
Assist Food Server in carrying order to the tables.
Refills water glasses and coffee cups as required.
Makes coffee when necessary.
Maintain professional demeanor throughout service, assisting servers as necessary.
Resets table and perform other related duties as requested by the Food Server.
Move tables throughout dining room in order to be able to set up and accommodate need of the reservations.
Supplies the dining room and individual guest tables with clean china, silver, glassware, utensils, condiments, and paper supplies as needed.
Replenishes butter, condiments, coffee, tea and refrigerated items used in the dining room.
Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents self as a credit to Harrah''s and encourages others to do the same.
Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Must have knowledge of current property events, promotions, and attractions.
Must pass and maintain Magnolia House specific position assessments.
Must have a minimum of 1 year fine dining experience.
Must have effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
Must have a strong understanding of fine dining atmosphere.
Must be able to work with others and as a team.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of assigned restaurant throughout entire shift.
Must be able to lift trays with food above shoulder level.
Ability to carry trays and carrying of plates without tray service.
Must be able to clean and reset tables in a timely fashion.
Requires stooping, bending, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs repeatedly.
Working Conditions:
Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public interaction. Must be able to handle a heavy business volume, and sensitive situations under time constraints. Close working environment during entire shift. Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.
Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 1 year fine dining related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills:
Knowledge of Open Table reservation system preferred.
Must be well organized and detail oriented.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
