The Master Scheduler will be creating and integrating schedules for a portfolio of strategic Workforce Transformation Initiatives (WTI) comprised of about 25 current projects. Candidate will assist the government in designing, developing, and maintaining detailed resource-loaded schedules. Work involves interfacing with client project managers to develop detailed schedules and assist the project managers in keeping schedules current, integrating and maintaining an overall Master Program Schedule. Candidate will be responsible to quickly and effectively synthesize business and project data to enable project managers to make data-driven decisions, and may perform other tasks as needed to support the client and program.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Maintaining the summary master schedule for the baseline and project business to ensure that the forecast and capacity planning is effectively managed and accurate on a weekly basis for short and long term horizons.
Emphasis will be placed on the major project business manufacturing scheduling which will require extensive coordination with the Project team to ensure project schedules and schedules are aligned to drive the business and meet customer expectations.
Coordination across projects to ensure resource constraints are addressed
The Master Scheduler will also assist with critical constraint planning
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher
Minimum 10 years total experience
Minimum of 5 years of project or planning experience is required.
Experience with MS Excel and MS Project or similar project tracking software is preferred.
Demonstrated strong administration, communication, and facilitating skills required to interact with all stakeholders
Ability to multi-task and work with little direction is required in order be able to demonstrate the high level of initiative that will be required to track, monitor and adhere to planned work schedules.
Recent experience leading and conducting program schedule risk assessments.
Recent experience with MS Project and other scheduling tools.
Recent experience evaluating program Earned Value Management System reporting and analyses
Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant discipline
MUST be able to obtain a public trust clearance; US Citizenship required
DHS and/or Secret or higher Clearance desired
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience in management consulting or business advisory services
PMP or equivalent certification
Experience in federal government sector
Experience with agile methodologies
Active DHS suitability and/or Secret/Top Secret clearance
CPIM certification or PMP certification is a plus
Job Location:
Washington, DC located in the Ronald Reagan building with the Federal Triangle Metro Station (orange/blue lines) connected to the building by a covered passageway. The building is within walking distance of the White House, the Capitol, the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, and many of Washington, DC's finest restaurants and shops.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
