Working with a $40MM 320 employee manufacturer of automotive sealing systems.
Company is a division of a German parent company.
Company contains three rubber profile extrusion lines and 40
injection molding presses (primarily rubber, one robotic Engle plastic injection molding press).
Company maintained profitability even during the 2008 2009 economic slowdown without layoffs.
Sealing systems are primarily for convertible tops but also for sunroofs, doors, and trunk seals.
Very clean manufacturing plant heavily involved with 5S and well organized.
Plant is currently running three shifts 5 to 6 days per week (down from 7 days per week due to improvement).
Will manage process improvement for rubber extrusion line.
Responsible for all process and product engineering as well as CAD Associates.
Evaluate new capital equipment.
Heavy assistance on plant engineering issues and productivity improvements.
Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience strongly preferred.
BS engineering and automotive or extrusion/injection molding experience required. Strong preference for extrusion and/or molding exposure.

Just South of Canton, OHEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
