Description/Job Summary
This is an Armed position and you have to have an armed license or certificate showing you have completed the required 40 hour training course.
Main Purpose: Stay visible and present a professional image at all times. Maintain the security of buildings and property. Monitor access to the property, and respond to fire, theft, vandalism, or any other situation that may arise. Report all safety hazards to your supervisor immediately. Duties & Requirements:
TN Armed License preferred, 2-3 years of law enforcement and/or security, or recent military. Must be able to pass substantial backgroungd check and credit check. Must be able to obtain security clearance. Clean driving record. Good communication and computer skills. Must be able to pass physical assessment test.
Responsibilities/Duties
Be mentally alert at all times
Must have good reading, report writing, and comprehension skills
Writing or printing must be legible
Good communication skills to accurately report incidents to the Post Supervisor and/or TVA Account Manager.
Good public relation skills
Be able to lift small/medium objects
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to climb and descend stairs
Security Officer must be a Murray Guard approved driver to drive the client's automobiles
Must have a clear understanding and knowledge of company policies and proceduresEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
