The IT Lead, Business Intelligence /Data Warehousing is responsible for managing and providing application maintenance services to the assigned BI/DW solution portfolio. Duties include acting as engineering contact, and ensuring that resource capacity, knowledge, and tools are in place to meet the requirements defined in the assigned Support SOW?s of the AS BI/DW Portfolio. The BI/DW Support Lead will be accountable for meeting all the service level targets/objectives as defined in the support SOW?s and act as first level escalation point for the service related issues for IT stakeholders & partners.
Responsibilities include: Deliver End-to-End application maintenance, including Break/Fix and Support, in line with assigned BI/DW platform/application requirements; Negotiate, Define, and Measure service levels for all services provided and ensure compliance to critical ITIL processes; Design, Deploy, and Continuously improve, a robust suite of ITIL processes including: Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Institutionalize Application Maintenance Improvement for the platform or application; Ensure the services are improving overall quality, speed, and value to the delivery teams.
Additionally the incumbent will have an unrelenting focus on reducing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and drive down unit costs for support, by leveraging Activity Based Costing (ABC) combined with Lean methodology and continuous process improvement framework. He/she will provide regular and detailed appropriate reports back to stakeholders and at all levels of management and staff about the current status of services and vendor performance. He/she will ensure all Application Services Support Services comply with applicable laws, regulations, standards, J&J policies and BUIT policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Computer Science, Science or Business Degree or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 5 years hands on experience in a BI / Data Warehouse environment required. Experience in Cognos 8.x/10.x or comparable BI technology required. Experience in SAP BW and/or Teradata a plus. ETL technology skills in Oracle SQL scripting, Cognos Data Manager, and/or Informatica ETL required. Understanding of business intelligence and data warehousing principles required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Well-developed presentation and facilitation skills required. Experience with Application Services Delivery and Support processes preferred. Strong project management skills to lead and direct a global project team, including onsite and offshore resources required. Strong understanding of IT service management principles and practices preferred; ITIL certification a plus. Demonstrated partnership and leadership skills required. Good troubleshooting and decision making skills required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
