Admissions Coordinator
As an Admissions Coordinator you will be responsible for providing admission services to residents and families, coordinating admissions with the staff at the center, contacting and promoting the center to staff in charge of discharges at other facilities.
Additional responsibilities of the Admissions Coordinator include:
Contacting appropriate community members.
Speaking at community functions and conducting tours and educational sessions.
Providing information to the rest of the team as needed.
Coordinating the move-in process, paperwork and orienting new residents to the facility.
Visiting with discharge planners and other individuals to promote the center and use of the center services.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Admissions Coordinator
To qualify for the Admissions Coordinator, you must have effective communication skills and be able to work with individuals of all ages.
Additional requirements of the Admissions Coordinator include:
Must have excellent communication skills and be organized and able to coordinate several different responsibilities at once.
Prior work experience in like or related position in long term care may be helpful.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
LPN or RN license preferred or Admissions/QA background
An additional responsibility of the Admissions Coordinator is quality assurance. For quality assurance, the Admission Coordinator will complete the following:
Continuous Quality Improvement Process:
Coordinate process improvement teams
Moderate QA meetings
Design, coordinate, and analyze results to determine action needed to produce quality improvement.
