Directly supervises assigned hourly employees and operations to ensure safe operations, quality work, performance achievement standards, and work rules are followed.
Leads teams, supervises scrap control and has a continuous improvement attitude.
Facilitates and resolves problems.
Complete miscellaneous work required by the department manager.
Black Belt or Green Belt Certification desired.
High school diploma or GED with some college preferred.
Good leadership skills, problem solving skills, and communication skills, both oral and written required.
Must promote teamwork and be able to motivate others.
Must be responsible, reliable, dependable, and able to work a 2-2-3 continuous operation schedule.
