The Master User will be the Center of Excellence (COE) lead for Oracle implementations/acquisitions and system utilization and development for our client. They will be responsible for providing training and support to the business functional area - Super Users - while aligning to the overall Oracle system and Company strategies. They will drive the design, implementation and support of Oracle projects for their respective functional area of responsibility (Order Management, Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, Inventory or Procurement) and liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
Job Responsibilities
Implementations/acquisitions, training, user groups, audit support, expert problem solving, and maximizing Oracle/apps functionality by:-
Completing design, overview, setups, training and cutover requirements during implementations
Identifying test scenarios, developing and executing test scripts
Delivering the to-be business processes
Developing an implementation/divestiture manual for their functional area applying a continuous improvement methodology
Determining and outlining future business process requirements ensuring all companies and locations are represented
Recommending technologies and solutions that drive business value through reduced administration expense, increased revenue, and enhanced customer engagement and developing proposals for acceptance by management
Collaborating with Super Users and Towers/Developers to establish the technical vision and provide input to IT of trade-offs between usability and User performance needs
Leading requirements gathering exercises using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions/scenarios, task and workflow analysis
Improving systems by studying current practices; gathering information, providing modification ideas; evaluating output requirements and formats
Critically evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts, decomposing high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguishing user requests from the underlying true needs
Problem solving where issues cannot be resolved at the OpCo, before the issue has to be elevated to managed services / IT for assistance
Assessing and activating Oracle functionality not currently utilized
Understanding 'bolt-on' applications to Oracle - including: assessment, procedure re-writes, training and implementation
Completing deliverables and acting as the first line of review and approval
Recommending controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
Leading OpCo's to successfully implement plans
Participating in discussions regarding Oracle supporting strategic changes (i.e. centralized engineering, consolidated invoicing, shutting down orgs / consolidating orgs)
Obtaining advanced and on-going training in functional area of expertise in Oracle and report writing tools
Supporting the development of training material
Delivering training to Users during implementations
Leading on-going training events for all user levels as new knowledge is acquired
Developing a Train the Trainer approach with Super Users with continuous knowledge transfer
Leading user group initiatives to:
Standardize and improve business practices, processes, procedures, and impact on policies
Develop and implement ways to simplify existing processes
Document the as is and to-be business processes for the functional area and providing references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation
Facilitating:
Monthly knowledge transfer meetings with Towers/Developers
Monthly user group meetings with Towers/Developers and Supers Users to discuss issues / ideas / changes needed
Quarterly forums where all functional leaders / Oracle IT support and backups are brought together to discuss issues / ideas / changes needed
Participating in regular cross-functional reviews with Master User Team members to ensure we do not lose sight of design interdependencies
Supporting Audit evidence requirements both during go-lives and during annual audits
Governance owner and Change Manager of shared data in system ensuring consistent and accurate data inputs
Reporting coordinator for customized Non-Standard Oracle generated reporting
Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Must have management skills, strong business knowledge of functional area and how each area impacts one another as well as have expert functional knowledge for their area of focus
2. Communication skills should include - good listener, be able to teach, be able to communicate issues to all levels of the organization; aptitude for technical issues, be willing to travel 50% plus of the time
3. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
4. Demonstrated functional area business acumen with a track record of advocating teamwork and building strong, collaborative working relationships
5. Experience with Oracle systems and Supply Chain, HR, HSE, Finance and Manufacturing applications
6. Candidates must be self-directed, natural leaders and possess deep subject matter expertise
7. Candidates will have prior experience with executive level engagement including presentations, goal setting, and requirements gathering
8. Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
10. Global support regardless of time zones
11. Ability to communicate effectively with both non-technical users and technical solution providers (ie. Hitachi Consulting)Education/Experience
12. Bachelor's degree or higher with 4 years of experience in manufacturing environment or;
13. Minimum 8 years related functional experience in a manufacturing environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
