System Engineering Manager

This position is responsible for all aspects of CVT global systems engineering including the application of proficient technical knowledge to direct, lead and execute worldwide engineering activities including all phases of design, development and continuous improvement to meet customer needs. Directs a global team of engineers who develop comprehensive systems level requirements through customer workshops/VOC activities and apply state-of-the-art tools and processes to manage these requirements throughout the product life cycle. Responsibilities also include the validation phase of systems requirements and the successful integration of transmission and hybrid systems on customer platforms. The systems engineering organization will support the development of new products and well as the maintenance and improvement of existing products.
Bachelors degree in Engineering or Mechatronics from an accredited institution required with 9 years experience in engineering to include 2 years in a systems/controls engineering role. OR Masters in Engineering or Mechatronics from an accredited institution required with 7 years experience in engineering to include 1 year in a systems/controls engineering role. OR PHD in Engineering or Mechatronics from an accredited institution required with 6 years experience in engineering.
Minimum 5 years in a Manager of People role.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. Position Criteria: General knowledge of accounting, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales. Strong presentation, interpersonal, and leadership skills. The individual possesses significant experience in the discipline of systems engineering and developing organizations.

Qualifications:
Masters degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Knowledge of strategic planning process.
Basic understanding of legal matters dealing with product liability and intellectual property.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
