Take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define and develop software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems. Guide customers, support analysts, and engineers in resolving critical customer and product issues. Design, implement, and operate systems built using Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies. Resolve complex product issues. Provide technical guidance and work effectively with field resources, support, product management, and engineering to ensure customer success. Troubleshoot to help customers resolve critical product issues. Perform Architecture review, performance tuning, and benchmarks. Provide user requirements definition and transform functional software requirements into detailed designs. Prepare, write, and develop detailed relational database designs to be used in the implementation of Oracle software applications. Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Information Systems or related technical field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or 5 years of work experience in a computer software engineering-related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Solid understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts including TOGAF; 2) Develop complex, distributed architecture solutions; 3) Oracle Application Integration Architecture (AIA), Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle Fusion Middleware; 4) Java, XML, Web Services; 5) Oracle Databases, SQL, and PL/SQL; 6) Understanding of the fundamental concepts of SOA; 7) Supporting applications implemented in Java EE; 8) Strong programming background with direct experience in Java, J2EE applications, and understanding of software and production systems for the enterprise; 9) Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts; 10) Knowledge of web services fundamentals and enterprise web services architecture, deployment and troubleshooting. Experience may be gained concurrently. Some travel may be required to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
