Salary Range: $11.52 Commensurate with Experience
Job Details:
The Patient Service Representative fully services the appointment needs of the patients after completion of the physician visit or testing. Also performs first class service by quickly and accurately gathering the required information from the referral or patient and providing reliable scheduled appointments with complete communication of any future information requirements that may be needed at time of visit. May perform duties across all physician practices and locations.
This position will be at our Cardiology Practice in Sault Ste. Marie. It will be approximately 6 days per month at this time. Wednesdsay is a required day.
Education: High school graduate with training on personal computers, general office equipment use and procedures. Coursework in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology preferred.
Experience: One to three years customer service experience required. One to three years medical office experience preferred.
Other Job Requirements: Ability to type a minimum of 40-50 wpm. Ability to perform at the highest customer service level and communicate verbally in a clear, concise and professionally pleasant manner.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
