Data Warehousing Specialist: Design, Develop, Test, Implement, Support Data warehousing applications, write HLDs and BRDs & Target mapping document. Strong experience on Databases including Oracle 11g/10g/9i, Teradata V2 R6/V2 R5, DB2, SQL Server. Strong knowledge on Kimball and Inmon Data warehousing methodologies and Business Intelligence with emphasis on ETL Life Cycle. Experience building reusable ETL components. Experience with OLAP automated unit and acceptance testing development. Interact with business users, business analysts. IT leads and developers in analyzing business requirements and translating requirements to functional and technical design specifications. Good command on Data warehousing Tools incl. Informatica, Ab Initio, Ascential Data Stage Enterprise Edition/Parallel Extender along with the Reporting Tools, Hyperion Essbase 7.x /Cognos, and Business Objects BI, PeopleTools, ETL tools, expertise are required. Well exp. in IBM WebSphere DataStage and QualityStage 8.1, Oracle Enterprise stage, DB2 Enterprise Stage, Sequential File, Dataset, File Set, Copy, & Modify Stages. Administration experience of OBIEE 11g is desirable and knowledge of Teradata database tools is desirable. Proficient in ETL Architecture and Data/Dimension Modeling using ER-WIN and MS-Visio, etc. Should perform dimensional modeling including Star Schema, Snowflake modeling, fact and dimension table design, physical and logical Data modeling using Erwin 3.5. extract data from legacy systems to staging area and then cleanse, homogenize, process and load into data marts and data warehouse. Exp. in UNIX shell scripts for ETL process automation req. Hands on experience with IBM Tivoli Workstation scheduler or similar and experience with Tableau Desktop and Server implementation and admin is a strong plus. Financial Services experience is recommended. Design Server jobs using various stages like Sequential file, ODBC, Hashed file, Aggregator, Transformer. Experience in OBI security setup, server admin is highly preferred.
Min. BS degree with Business/Management/Computer Science /Electronics Engg. or equiv with min. 5 yrs exp. MS with 3 yrs. related exp pref. Reasonable comb of education & exp is acceptable. MS with 3 yrs. related exp preferred. Willing to travel and relocate.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
