General Task Requirements:
The Mechanic A should be certified and have the ability to operator the following equipment, when required: trac hoe; rubber tire backhoe; front end loader; road grader/maintainer; dozer; hoe ram; carry deck; Ross carrier; 15 ton hydraulic crane; 18 ton hydraulic crane; 35 ton hydraulic crane; 50 ton hydraulic crane; 65 ton hydraulic crane; and friction rig. The operator should also be able to read and interpret load charts
Other Qualifications Standards:
The individual who occupies this position must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of such individual and others in the workplace. This means that the individual must not pose significant risk of substantial harm to the health or safety of the individual or others that cannot be eliminated or reduced by reasonable accommodation.
